One Fact - One Tip #2
ONE FACT:
The first item ever auctioned off on eBay (then: AuctionWeb) was a broken laser pointer in the good ole year of 1995.
The broken laser pointer sold for $14.83.
Who said that broken items have no value?! Everything Sells on eBay!
ONE TIP:
Are you one of those people who frequantly misspell words? Not to fret… on eBay the misspelling of a word can get you some of the best buys.
Try this, go to eBay and search for a LABTOP. Yup, L A B T O P, not laptop. See what appears.
You will find tons of laptops under that misspelling being that it is a very well known and commonly misspelteded word. Try some other words, company or product names you will be surprized at what you find.
I once tried to find a Canon ink cartridge only to have misspelled CANNON. In the mean time I found a printer that I wanted and saw that the seller also misspeled Canon in their listing. I watched it for several days and no one even looked at it. I bid on it at the last moment only to win the auction for a meer $48.
Back then the printer was selling for $140 retail and up to $120 on eBay.
What a steal! Oh yea, I bought ink that day too.
So, leran howl to mispel wrds proprly annd win mor oxshuns!
